My first day of convention under my belt… I am keeply aware of how fortunate we are in our parish life to be such an open and loving community. Meeting and welcoming people in the Claiming the Blessing booth was both gratifying and disconcerting. It is sometimes difficult to read people on how they receive the discussion of our agenda.
Then to watch Larry King last night and see this "hot" topic be the focus of the show… The Presiding Bishop affirmed our work and those who work against us feel there is a "battle" ahead. The buttons being distributed at the Integrity booth say it: No turning back!
